Single Sign On Authentication

Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication enables centralized access control for AI model interactions with organizational resources. In this context, SSO serves as the primary authentication layer that validates user identity before enabling access to backend systems, databases, and applications through MCP connections.

The Cequence AI gateway functions as the intermediary infrastructure that routes requests between AI models and various organizational systems. When integrated with SSO, the gateway inherits the organization's existing identity management framework, ensuring that all AI-driven operations maintain the same security posture as traditional user interactions. When an employee initiates an AI conversation or task, their established organizational identity automatically determines what systems the AI can access on their behalf.
